In overcoming self-doubt in writing, you need to remember that all successful writers had to learn. They had to practice. They had to get rejected.
Something I’ve had to tell myself is that you don’t become a musician, a doctor, a lawyer, or whatever, without a deep dive into the craft. No one expects excellence in those fields without years of effort. Tepid, shallow, one-off attempts will be greeted with the indifference they deserve.
