Finish Something

I’m an iPhone app developer at a company as my day job. I just had an app idea that might gain some traction on the App Store, and should be pretty quick to get up and running. However, there’s only so much time in the day and I can’t continue to keep up my word count and work on this other side project. Maybe I should push pause on my writing to work on the app, and then pick up the novel later. I could be up and running in a couple of months.

Abbie Emmons helpfully put me back on track. I’m 75% through my current novel project, and I’m going to finish it before moving on to the app idea. That’ll give me a break from writing before moving on to my next writing project, and I’ll have the satisfaction of having finished the project.
